Kharar: A special meeting of 'Sahityak Sath' (Sath), Kharar, was held at the residence of its President, Jaswinder Singh Kainaur, in Kharar. Based on a unanimous decision reached with the consent of the members present, Hakam Singh Nattian was appointed Vice President of Sath, replacing Gurmeet Singh Singal. Additionally, Rajvinder Singh Gaddu was appointed Patron, replacing Dr. Harnek Singh Kler.
Both new office-bearers assured that they would work with full dedication to further the literary interests of Sath and elevate its stature. All members remarked that Sath is doing excellent work and should continue its activities without hindrance.
Attendees at the meeting included Jaswinder Singh Kainaur, Rajvinder Singh Gaddu, Hakam Singh Nattian, Inspector Kesar Singh, Khushi Ram Nimana, Baldev Singh Burjan, Gursharan Singh Kaka, Pyara Singh Rahi, Tarsem Singh Kalewal, Dr. Roop Sagar, Sumittar Singh Dost, and Ranjit Kaur.
While issuing a press note, the association's General Secretary, Pyara Singh Rahi, informed that—in addition to those present—certain office-bearers and members who were out of town due to urgent domestic commitments also expressed their consent to these decisions via telephone conversations with the President, keeping the interests of Sath in mind; these included Dhyan Singh Kahlon, Surjit Suman, and Bant Singh Deep.
