Chandigarh: Punjab Governor and Chandigarh Administrator Gulab Chand Kataria has accepted the invitation to attend the Chandigarh Vyapar Mandal (CBM) Founder's Day and Traders' Day celebrations as the chief guest. The event will be held on March 22nd, commemorating the death anniversary of the late Inder Lal Batra, the founding president of the CBM. Several events, including a blood donation camp and a medical checkup camp, will be organized on this occasion.
Chandigarh Vyapar Mandal President Sanjeev Chadha stated that the Governor has accepted the invitation to be the chief guest. National Traders Welfare Board Chairman Sunil J. Singhi will also attend the event as the guest of honor. The invitation was extended to him by Charanjeev Singh, a member of the National Traders Welfare Board and Chairman of the CBM.
The event will unveil several welfare schemes for the benefit of traders, and honor the contributions of the late Inder Lal Batra. A blood donation camp and free medical check-up camp will also be organized during the event.
Diwakar Sahunja, Vice President and official spokesperson, stated that this event is held annually in memory of the late Inder Lal Batra. Detailed information regarding the March 22nd event will be shared soon, as stated in a unanimous resolution passed at the Chandigarh Vyapar Mandal's Annual General Meeting a few months ago.
