Chandigarh, February 9:- Haryana Chief Minister Mr. Naib Singh Saini said that the officials should give top priority to the works related to public welfare and work with full sensitivity and responsibility and there should be no negligence at any level. He said that the government is fully committed to the overall development of Gurugram and the solution of the problems of the common people.
Every problem related to the district is being considered seriously and their quick and effective solution is being ensured. The government is constantly reviewing the public problems so that the people get timely relief and the momentum in development works is maintained.
The Chief Minister was presiding over the meeting of the District Public Relations and Grievance Redressal Committee in Gurugram on Monday. Haryana Industries and Commerce Minister Rao Narbir Singh, Pataudi MLA Mrs. Bimla Chaudhary, Sohna MLA Mr. Tejpal Tanwar were also present in the meeting. A total of 17 problems were raised in the meeting, out of which the Chief Minister resolved 12 on the spot, while directing the cases to be kept pending till the next meeting. He directed the concerned authorities to present the status report of these pending cases in the next meeting.
**Directions to make broken roads of Gurugram motorable in a month
During the meeting, Chief Minister Mr. Naib Singh Saini took notice of the complaint regarding the dilapidated condition of the road from Umang Bhardwaj Chowk in Sector-10A to Dwarka Expressway via Gadoli. He directed the concerned authorities to make the road pothole-free within the next 24 hours.
He said that no matter which department the road belongs to, whether it is under HSIIDC, Municipal Corporation or GMDA, all the roads should be constructed and made motorable within the next one month by taking necessary action as per the rules.
**With the immediate initiative of the Chief Minister, the road problem of Sector-85 will be solved, more than 7000 people will get relief
On the road related complaint presented by the Congress Residency R.W. located in Sector-85 in the meeting, Chief Minister Shri Naib Singh Saini had taken serious note in the previous meeting and constituted a committee of the concerned departments.
Based on the report of the committee, the concerned private land has now been purchased by the builder and the process of removing the old buildings built there has been started. After this, a 24 meter wide link road will be constructed within two weeks, which will directly connect Sector-86 with the main road and Dwarka Expressway.
This decision will provide great relief to about 7000 residents and 800 school students in commuting. The RWD representatives thanked the Chief Minister and said that due to his sensitive initiative, prompt hearing and formation of a committee, this long pending problem has been resolved.
**Directions to make Surat Nagar Phase-1 free from waterlogging and improve the streets
Taking note of the long-standing problem of waterlogging in Surat Nagar Phase-1, Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini has directed the concerned authorities to ensure a solution within a month. The Chief Minister said that all the affected streets of the area should be free from waterlogging and improved, so that the local residents can get relief.
He said that the water drainage system should be prepared with immediate effect and where necessary, pumps should be installed to drain the water. The Chief Minister directed the officials to conduct a regular review of the works and ensure action against the responsible officials if the work is not completed within the stipulated time.
