Sukhwinder Singh Thandi said that in the city, people are getting injured after falling into dangerous potholes on the road, due to which the passers-by keep losing their lives and property. People who were angry with the government appealed to social service organizations. Accepting this request, Sri Guru Ramdas Sewa Society has set an example by filling the dangerous big potholes in front of Bus Adda Nawanshahr and near Ambedkar Chowk Nawanshahr with gravel and sand this morning.
On filling the potholes, the passers-by appreciated the work of Sri Guru Ramdas Sewa Society, because many people have fallen and got injured here. Every day some or the other incident happens here. Society President Sukhwinder Singh Thandi and Secretary Amarjit Singh Khalsa said that the society has been doing road repair work in Nawanshahr area from time to time for the last 9 years with a selfless spirit.
Today, potholes were filled with gravel at Ambedkar Chowk Nawanshahr. Such work will continue for the welfare of the people of the city. Road ruler, gutka, gravel, sand, gravel etc. materials were used for road repair. On this occasion, the society president Sukhwinder Singh Thandi has also requested the people to cooperate.
