Hoshiarpur:- Retired Principal BL Gohal, who was a student of B.Sc. Non-Medical course of 1969 to 1972 batch at Sri Guru Gobind Singh Khalsa College Mahilpur, reached the college today and shared memories related to student life and handed over a cheque of one lakh rupees as scholarship amount for needy students to the Principal of the college Dr. Parvinder Singh.
On this occasion, Principal Dr. Parvinder Singh said in his welcome speech that the students who studied at Khalsa College Mahilpur have a deep connection with this institution and the college organizes an alumni meet ceremony as part of the reunion of old students. He thanked Principal Gohal for the support given to the college.
It is worth mentioning that Principal BL Gohal, originally a resident of village Majara Dingrian, after completing BS Medical from Khalsa College Mahilpur in 1972, obtained MA Economics and MPhil degrees from Punjabi University Patiala and retired as Principal from Government College Malerkotla. On this occasion, Principal Gohal was specially honored by the college.
