Hoshiarpur: A 'Van Mahotsav' (Forest Festival) was organized at the Forest Range Office on Mall Road. On this occasion, DFO Dharmveer Dheru (IFS) planted a sapling and urged everyone to plant as many trees as possible during the monsoon season. He stated that the department has set a target of planting 6.5 lakh saplings this season.
To meet this goal, approximately 30 lakh saplings have been prepared in the department's nurseries, ensuring that organizations, social workers, and environmental enthusiasts joining this campaign face no difficulties in obtaining them. He mentioned that organizations can contact the department's office or submit their requests for saplings via the government website.
