Hoshiarpur- A "Fitness and Sports Event" was organized by the Youth Sports Welfare Board and Emmanuel Sports Club at Nanhe Munne Playway School, Kapurthala, under the leadership of Coach Sukhdeep Singh Bajwa. All students of the school participated in this event. Rajiv Walia, President of the Youth Sports Welfare Board, attended the event as a special guest.
The school principal, Deepa Sethi, along with Gaurav Sethi, Chanchal Momi, and Coach Sukhdeep Singh Bajwa, welcomed and thanked President Rajiv Walia. Speaking on the occasion, Rajiv Walia stated that in today's time, children—whether young or old—must participate in sports. 
He emphasized that participation in sports not only ensures the physical development of children but also keeps their minds stress-free, which in turn helps them focus better on their studies. He honored the participating children with certificates and boosted their morale.
On this occasion, school principal Deepa Sethi said that the steps taken by Rajiv Walia and his team against drugs to keep the youth away from this menace have been successful in connecting young people with sports. All staff members of the school presented a memento to the Youth Sports Welfare Board President, Rajiv Walia.
