Chandigarh, June 04:- The Haryana Government has brought 11 subsidy schemes of the Fisheries Department under the purview of the Haryana Right to Service Act, 2014 and fixed their time limit. With this, the beneficiaries will be able to get the benefit of these services within the stipulated time limit.
According to the notification issued by Chief Secretary Mr. Anurag Rastogi, the benefit of subsidy on auto, four-wheeler or mini tractor-trolley under the subsidy for intensive fisheries development program will now be made available within the stipulated time limit of 40 days.
Under the Pradhan Mantri Maishri Sampada Yojana, a time limit of 50 days has been fixed for subsidy on genetic improvement programme and establishment of nucleus breeding centre, subsidy for innovation and innovative activities, start-ups, incubators and pilot projects and subsidy on training, awareness, experience and capacity building programmes.
Similarly, subsidy for establishment of integrated ornamental fish unit (breeding and rearing of fresh water fish), establishment of freshwater ornamental fish brood bank and promotion of recreational fisheries will also be provided within 50 days.
With the aim of promoting marketing and value addition of fish products, subsidy on e-platform for e-trading and e-marketing of fish and fish products, subsidy on modernization of cold storage and ice plants, subsidy on establishment of fish value added enterprise units and subsidy for extension and support services (Fish Service Centres) will also be available within 50 days.
According to the notification, the concerned District Fisheries Officer will be the designated officer for all these services, while the Deputy Director (Fish) will act as the first Grievance Redressal Authority and the Director (Fish) will act as the second Grievance Redressal Authority.
