Garhshankar, October 7:- In a horrific road accident that occurred when a Scorpio vehicle overturned near village Gogom on the Garhshankar-Nurpur Bedi main road, one woman died while four others, including another woman, sustained serious injuries.
 A Scorpio car bearing registration number PB 07 AP 4116, which was traveling from village Bora towards Garhshankar, lost control for some reason near village Gogom and collided with the wall of a house on the other side of the road.
 as a result of which five occupants of the vehicle, including the driver, were seriously injured. With the help of local villagers, they were rushed to the Civil Hospital in Garhshankar. 
On reaching the hospital, one woman died on the way; her name is reported to be Parmjeet Kaur, 50, wife of Balvir Singh, resident of village Ghagon Roran. Meanwhile, the seriously injured—Rajveer, wife of Jaswinder Singh, Babita, 30, wife of Rahul, Happy, 30, son of Balvir Singh, and Prince Kumar, aged about 32—were referred for further treatment. 
According to the information received, all the vehicle occupants are residents of village Ghagon Roran in Garhshankar tehsil.
