Ratia, 4 September: Face-to-face and honouring ceremony of famous film actor Deepak Kamboj was organized by Lok Chetna Manch Haryana at Global Star Library, Ratia. Programme was presided over by Chairman of Lok Chetna Manch Haryana Dr. Naib Singh Mander.
In programme, General Secretary of Manch Krishna Chitrakar welcomed guests and present members and gave information about various activities being organized by Lok Chetna Manch in field of literature, art, culture and social concerns. Advocate Gurpreet Singh Mander presented detailed introduction of life, struggle and art-journey of film actor Deepak Kamboj.
During face-to-face programme Deepak Kamboj sharing experiences of his life and acting journey told that since childhood he had special interest towards theatre and colours of nature. He received education of Civil Engineering from Thapar University and after that did jobs in various institutions. Due to deep interest towards acting and theatre, he left job of IQ Hospital and started his acting journey at TFT Theatre of Chandigarh.
He told that in Mumbai he stepped into film world as junior artist in film ‘21 Sarfarosh: Saragarhi 1897’. After this he got recognition by playing role of ‘Vinder’ with Tarsem Jassar in ‘Dastar’ film. He told that his acting got immense love of viewers in projects like Netflix's ‘Saare Jahan Se Achcha’, Jio Hotstar's ‘Bad Cop’, Zee Punjabi's ‘Heer Ranjha’, ‘Mawan Thandiyan Chawan’ and ‘Jigri Yaar’ and ‘Kasooti Degree’.
Deepak Kamboj told that on upcoming 13 September many big artists of film world will also be included in rally organized for promotion of film ‘Mitti Ka Putra’.
During programme film actor Deepak Kamboj was honoured by Lok Chetna Manch Haryana by giving ‘Uttam Seva Samman’. While receiving honour he expressed gratitude to Lok Chetna Manch and said that such events that encourage artists play important role in advancing art and culture.
On this occasion social worker Tejinder Singh Aujla, Advocate Gurpreet Singh Mander, Bikram Kamboj, Mata Baldev Kaur, Beant Kaur, Manjit Singh, Gurpreet Singh, Kushub Goyal, Dilpreet, Narender, Lovepreet, Keshav, Asmeet, Gursewak, Mandeep, Gurditta including many members of Lok Chetna Manch and large number of fans were present.
