Ratia, July 27: A 'Mukhyamantri Antyodaya Parivar Utthan Mela' (Chief Minister's Antyodaya Family Upliftment Fair) was organized on Sunday at the BDPO office in Ratia. The event aimed to link eligible families with various government schemes, provide self-employment opportunities, and economically empower them under the Haryana government's 'Mukhyamantri Antyodaya Parivar Utthan Yojana' (MMAPUY) 2.0. By afternoon, 1,050 applications had been received at the fair from individuals seeking to avail the benefits of various government schemes. Rajya Sabha MP Subhash Barala attended the event as the chief guest.
MP Subhash Barala inspected the stalls set up by various departments at the fair and gathered information from officials regarding the implementation of schemes and the facilities being provided to beneficiaries. He interacted with the beneficiaries to understand their needs and encouraged them to make the most of the public welfare schemes run by both the Central and Haryana governments.
Speaking on the occasion, MP Subhash Barala stated that, guided by Prime Minister Narendra Modi's mantra of "Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, and Sabka Prayas" (Together with all, Development for all, Trust of all, and Effort of all) and the leadership of Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, both the Central and State governments are committed to realizing the spirit of 'Antyodaya' (uplifting the last person). The government's objective is to ensure that the benefits of development and welfare schemes reach every eligible individual standing at the very bottom of the social ladder, ensuring that no needy family is deprived of government assistance.
He noted that eligible families are being provided benefits through various Central government self-employment and livelihood schemes—such as the Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Vishwakarma Yojana, Prime Minister's Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP), Stand-Up India, and the National Rural Livelihood Mission—alongside the Haryana government's public welfare schemes. By bringing these schemes together on a single platform, the 'Mukhyamantri Antyodaya Parivar Utthan Melas' are becoming an effective medium to connect poor and needy families with self-employment, skill development, financial assistance, and job opportunities.
The MP emphasized that the government's goal is not merely to provide financial aid but to make every family self-reliant and independent. To achieve this, coordination is being established among various departments to ensure that eligible beneficiaries receive the benefits of these schemes in a timely and transparent manner.
He instructed officials to ensure that information regarding the schemes reaches every eligible family and that no deserving individual is deprived of the benefits. He stated that the effective implementation of public welfare schemes is what will truly realize the vision of *Antyodaya* (upliftment of the last person).
