Hansi:- The 121st birth anniversary of PCSD School's founder and builder Shyoprasad was celebrated on Thursday in the school premises in a simple, reverent and dignified atmosphere. In the ceremony, Deputy Commissioner Rahul Narwal, attending as the chief guest, bowed to the incomparable contribution of philanthropist Seth Shyoprasad in the field of education and while explaining the importance of education in life to the students, gave the message to set goals and work continuously hard.
The ceremony began with Deputy Commissioner Rahul Narwal paying tribute by garlanding the statue of philanthropist Seth Shyo Prasad and offering flowers. After that, he also gave the message of environmental protection by planting saplings in the school premises.
Addressing the present students, parents, office bearers, members of the school management committee and distinguished citizens, Deputy Commissioner Rahul Narwal said that the strongest foundation for the development of any country, state and society is education. Education is not only a means of acquiring knowledge, but also the foundation for building a better society and a strong nation. He called upon the students to set a clear goal of their life and move forward with full dedication, discipline and hard work to achieve it. If the goal is clear and hard work is done with honesty, success is definitely achieved.
Quoting Bharat Ratna Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar's famous saying "Education is the milk of a lioness, the more one drinks it, the more one will roar", he said that education develops self-confidence, self-respect and leadership ability in a person's life. The Haryana government is also giving top priority to the field of education and providing modern facilities in schools so that every student can get quality education and realize his dreams.
The Deputy Commissioner said that philanthropist Seth Shyoprasad was a great social worker with far-sighted thinking. He not only founded but also constructed PCSD School about seven decades ago, understanding the importance of education at that time. This educational institution established through his efforts has given many such students to the society who have achieved remarkable achievements in various fields and brought glory to Hansi, Haryana and the country. Such great personalities will always remain a source of inspiration for the society.
On the occasion of the birth anniversary celebration, the students of the school presented captivating cultural programs and won the hearts of the gathered crowd. The program began with the worship of Lord Shri Ganesh, after which the students gave colorful presentations based on patriotism and Indian culture and received great encouragement from all.
On reaching the school, Deputy Commissioner Rahul Narwal was given a grand welcome by the members of the organizing committee by garlanding him with flowers.
