Garhshankar, November 2 - The Democratic Teachers Front has strongly condemned the decision of the Central Government to take over the administration through appointments by breaking the system that has been going on in the Panjab University for the last sixty years through the Senate and Syndicate.
Issuing a statement to the press in this regard, DTF leaders Mukesh Kumar and Sukhdev Dancewal said that the Central Government is abolishing the rights of the states by abolishing the rights of the states under centralization and saffronization, under which the power of the Senate has now been reduced from ninety members to thirty-one members.
In which eighteen elected and six nominated and seven office bearers will be included. In this way, the administrative structure that has been going on for a long time through the electoral system has been directly abolished and the Center has indirectly taken over the administration of the university. Which the people of Punjab will strongly oppose.
Similarly, DTF leaders Ashni Kumar, Vinay Kumar, Manjit Singh, Sandeep Kumar, Jaswinder Singh Mandeep Singh Jarnail Singh, 4161 Master Cadre Union leaders Sandeep Singh Gill, Balkar Singh Maghania have also supported the struggle of the Anti-Affidavit Front of the students who are opposing the condition of taking an affidavit from the students not to participate in any struggle.
The leaders have appealed to all Punjabi supporters of Punjab to protest with all public and democratic organizations to save Panjab University.
