Hansi:- As per the instructions of Superintendent of Police Hansi Vinod Kumar, DSP Headquarters Hansi Vinod Shankar held a meeting of all the Station House Officers and Police Post In-charges of the district in his office. During the meeting, necessary guidelines were given regarding crime control, public participation-based policing, media coordination and effective functioning at the police station level.
DSP Vinod Shankar said that each police station should keep a vigilant watch on the active and anti-social elements in its area and their activities should be regularly analyzed. Instructions were also given to keep a special watch on misleading activities affecting law and order on social media.
He said that regular dialogue should be established at the police station level with local dignitaries, social organizations, public representatives and influential citizens.
In the meeting, police officers were instructed to give priority to better behaviour with the general public, transparent working and prompt redressal of complaints.
Apart from this, instructions were also given to make the beat system more effective, to promote community-based policing, to maintain regular contact with senior citizens and vulnerable sections and to ensure fair and thorough investigation of every important incident.
DSP Vinod Shankar instructed all the Station House Officers and Police Post In-charges to work with full dedication and responsibility to maintain law and order, prevent crimes and strengthen public confidence.
