Garhshankar/Hoshiarpur:- Aam Aadmi Party got a big political boost in village Padrana of Garhshankar constituency when dozens of families belonging to various political parties announced joining Aam Aadmi Party in the presence of Deputy Speaker of Punjab Vidhan Sabha and constituency MLA S. Jai Krishan Singh Rouri. New comrades who joined the party were warmly welcomed by garlanding them and presenting Siropas.
Addressing on this occasion, Deputy Speaker S. Jai Krishan Singh Rouri said that due to pro-people decisions being taken by Punjab Government under the leadership of Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh Mann, strict action against corruption, projects being run for education, health and development of villages, people's trust is continuously increasing towards Aam Aadmi Party. He said that today families of village Padrana joining the party is proof of the fact that people are fed up with traditional politics and are supporting honest and development-oriented politics.
Rouri said that Aam Aadmi Party is a party of people of every section and every worker joining the party will be given full respect and honour. He assured the new comrades that no stone will be left unturned in the development of entire constituency including village Padrana and people's problems will be solved on priority basis.
Families who joined Aam Aadmi Party said that they have joined the party being impressed by the public welfare policies of Punjab Government, transparent working style and development works being done in Garhshankar constituency. They said that in coming time they will work with full dedication to take policies of the party to every household. On this occasion Sarpanch Jarnail Singh, Panch Mahinga Ram, Panch Jaspal Singh, Panch Kulwinder Singh, Panch Saroj Rani, Panch Subhash, Panch Harbans Lal, Ex-Panch Nish Rani, Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar Welfare Society all members, Rajni Devi, Bimla Devi, Suman Thakur, Sandeep Rana, Vishal Rana, Amandeep Singh, Rajiv Kumar, Lakhvir Singh, Rajat Sharma, Suman Rani, Sunny Kumar and large number of party leaders, youth and area residents were present.
