Kharar: Over the past thirty years, the struggle waged by medical practitioners has effectively countered the dictatorial decrees issued by various governments; they have ensured the survival of this profession and upheld its dignity. This was stated by Dr. Ramesh Kumar Bali, Founder and State President of the 'All India Medical Practitioners Federation' and the 'Medical Practitioners Association Punjab (Reg. 295),' in a written statement issued during a meeting of district office-bearers.
Dr. Bali noted that the movement—which originated from the ancestral village and memorial of Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh—is now moving towards victory. The Punjab government has issued orders to conduct training in government universities and hospitals, establishing eligibility criteria of a 10th-grade pass and five years of experience.
Certain so-called leaders are misleading medical practitioners through false propaganda and creating obstacles to the training process. District Patron Dr. Baljit Saneta and Chairman Dr. Dharvinder Kumar Durali affirmed their support for State President Dr. Ramesh Kumar Bali in the ongoing dialogue with the government. The Punjab government is deeply committed to the training initiative and is keen to resolve the issues faced by medical practitioners.
