Ratia, 4 November (Advocate Gurpreet Singh Mander):- District Education Officer Sangeeta Bishnoi and District Project Coordinator (DPC) Balwan Singh conducted a surprise inspection of Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya (KGBV), Khai. On their arrival at the school, Principal Abnish Garg and the staff members welcomed the officers.
During the inspection, District Education Officer Sangeeta Bishnoi visited various classrooms and interacted with students to gather information about the syllabus and teaching activities. She specifically reviewed the progress of the Class 12 syllabus. She also held detailed discussions on the teaching methods adopted for Mathematics and Science in Class 10. She instructed teachers to make greater use of practical activities and examples to explain subjects in a simpler and more effective manner so that students could not only study the subjects but also understand their practical applications.
She also visited the school’s science and computer laboratories and expressed satisfaction with the available facilities and arrangements. Addressing the students, she said that girls could achieve new heights of success in life through quality education. For this, regular studies, discipline and hard work, along with special attention to general knowledge, were essential.
The officers inspected the quality and arrangements of lunch served in the hostel and reviewed the residential, dining and other basic facilities available to the students. They also checked cleanliness arrangements in the school premises and hostel, staff attendance, and various academic and co-curricular activities. In addition, they reviewed the arrangements for safety, electricity and drinking water in all classrooms and across the campus.
On the occasion, the District Education Officer interacted directly with the students and sought detailed information about the food served in the hostel, accommodation facilities and their daily needs. During the interaction, she expressed satisfaction with the arrangements and directed the school management to maintain continuous quality in education and hostel facilities.
On this occasion, the school warden Maheshi, litterateur Dr Naib Singh Mander, lecturer Kanwarjeet Singh, Banwari Lal, Charanjit Singh, Sonu Garg, Sunita Monga, Ghanshyam Napa, Sheenu, Seema Rani, Nisha Rani and all other staff members were present.
