Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, July 4:- As per the guidelines of the Election Commission of India, under the Special Intensive Revision (SIR-2026) campaign being conducted in the district, despite the rainy season, the Booth Level Officers (BLOs) are going door to door to fill the enumeration forms of the voters with full dedication. Along with this, the process of digitization of the filled enumeration forms is also being continuously accelerated, so that the entire process can be completed within the stipulated time frame.
This campaign is being continuously monitored at the district level under the leadership of District Election Officer-cum-Deputy Commissioner Komal Mittal. Under this, District Nodal Officer (SWEEP) Professor Gurbaksh Singh Antal and Election Tehsildar Harpreet Kaur are visiting various areas to review the work of BLOs and ensuring all possible assistance to the voters.

The District SWEEP team is also contacting senior citizens and Divyang voters in various areas and getting them to fill their enumeration forms. Along with this, special camps were organized at various places in the district today to provide guidance and necessary information to the voters regarding filling the enumeration forms, so that the process of SIR-2026 can be completed smoothly and in a timely manner.
Election Kanungo Surinder Batra and Jagtar Singh were also present with the team during the field visit today. He reviewed the ongoing work in various areas and issued necessary guidelines to the BLOs.
