Garhshankar, October 19: Deputy Speaker of Punjab Vidhan Sabha Mr. Jai Krishan Singh Raudi has greeted Punjabis living in Garhshankar constituency and all over the world on the occasion of Diwali, Bandi Chhor Divas and Vishwakarma Divas and other holy festivals.
Deputy Speaker Mr. Jai Krishan Singh Raudi said that we should celebrate our traditional festivals with full pride and dignity. He also appealed to follow the teachings given by Gurus and Pirs to follow the path of truth.
Praying to God for the peace and prosperity of all, the Deputy Speaker appealed to the people to celebrate holy days like Diwali and Bandi Chhor Divas in the traditional manner and to refrain from bursting crackers. He said that while bursting crackers causes pollution, their explosions create an atmosphere of fear among speechless animals. Therefore, as a human being, we should not do any wrong thing that causes harm to anyone else.
Shri Jai Krishna Singh Raudi, while sharing his greetings on Vishwakarma Day, said that Lord Shri Vishwakarma Ji has connected us with labor and skill, therefore we should remain loyal to our work and always respect the tools.
