Haroli/Una, June 9 (Rajveer Chopra): Baba Kewal Singh of Shri Khuralgarh Sahib has written to Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, demanding the introduction of rail services to the sacred site of Shri Khuralgarh Sahib and its connection to the railway network. In the letter, he noted that the distance between the Bhanupalli rail junction and the sacred site of Shri Khuralgarh Sahib is merely 12 kilometers; therefore, this significant religious site should be connected to the Bhanupalli rail junction via a rail link.
In his letter, Baba Kewal Singh stated that a large number of devotees from across the country visit Shri Khuralgarh Sahib—the sacred site of Shri Guru Ravidas Maharaj Ji—to pay their respects. This place is a center of deep faith for the Ravidas community and other devotees.
He explained that this demand has been placed before the Union Railway Minister with the convenience of devotees in mind, ensuring that pilgrims arriving from various states receive better facilities during their journey and do not face any difficulties in reaching the sacred site.
