Rahon:- Dedicated to the 650th Great Gurpurab of the great revolutionary leader, dream maker of Begampura, Sahib-e-Kamal Shiromani Shri Guru Ravidas Maharaj Ji and in the fond memory of the late social worker Shri Mati Navjot Kaur Bharti Ji, 'Jyot Social Awareness and Welfare Society' is organizing awareness camps at various places under the 'Public Interest Awareness Campaign' in collaboration with the National Labor Organization (NLO) while performing selfless services.
Under this series, an awareness camp was organized in the community hall of village Usmanpur under the guidance of the society's documentation officer Kumari Simranjot Kaur Bharti and chief volunteer Harshdeep Uan in collaboration with the Gram Panchayat. On this occasion, the convener of the National Labor Organization (NLO), Baldev Bharti, State Awardee, specially attended.
He said that according to the message of the humanitarian Gurbani of Shri Guru Ravidas Maharaj Ji, being aware of one's duties and rights is one's real power. During this camp, information was given from various aspects to strengthen the needy villagers on the ground economically.
On this occasion, applications were also sent to the Block Development and Panchayat Officer, Nawanshahr, for employment by 28 MNREGA workers. On this occasion, social worker Dr. Manjit, Mrs. Kamlesh Rani Sarpanch, Rajni Bala and Kuljit Kaur Met MNREGA, Nirmala Kumari, Nirmal Bangar, Surinder Kumar Heer, Kuldeep Singh etc. were specially present.
