Patiala: The Dedicated Brothers Group (DBG) is performing commendable efforts in Punjab, acting as a 'Karmyogi' institution most dedicated to the health, safety, support, respect, prosperity, and progress of humanity. These views were expressed by Advocate Harpal Juneja, Chairman of PRTC, during the 337th meeting of the organization held at Bhasha Bhavan. While speaking, he honored meritorious students, blood donors, and needy students who were provided financial assistance for higher education.
Under the leadership of President Dr. Rakesh Varmi and Secretary Harpreet Singh Sandhu, more than 1,375 'Karmyogi' workers of the Dedicated Brothers Group are working for the welfare of humanity. Dr. Rakesh Varmi and Harpreet Sandhu stated that with the cooperation and support of the members, 37 projects are being run. This year, projects include providing water bottles (sippers) to manual laborers, providing lunch to laborers and students for just 10 rupees, establishing 'Awareness Clubs' in schools to provide knowledge on health, safety, support, and respect, providing free computer and sewing training to needy students, and offering financial assistance to poor patients for the treatment of cancer, heart disease, kidney issues, etc.
Chief Guest Harpal Juneja expressed his gratitude and announced that he would provide 50 water sippers for distribution to laborers. He further encouraged everyone to plant as many trees as possible for environmental protection during the months of July, August, and September. He mentioned that all types of saplings can be obtained for free from his father, 'Greenman Awardee' Bhagwan Das Juneja. Members of the DBG thanked and honored Harpal Juneja, and also honored 26 members for their birthdays during the event.
