Santoshgarh/Una, June 17 (Rajveer Chopra): A moment of pride has arrived for the Santoshgarh Municipal Council following the Himachal Pradesh Education Department's issuance of appointment orders for 308 mathematics teachers in CBSE-affiliated government senior secondary schools. Two talented young women from Santoshgarh—Deepika and Shivani—have brought glory not only to the Santoshgarh Municipal Council but to the entire Una district by securing appointments as mathematics teachers.
According to available information, Shivani (daughter of Subhash Chand), a resident of Ward No. 8 in Santoshgarh Municipal Council, holds an M.A. (Mathematics) and B.Ed. degree; she has been appointed as a mathematics teacher at the Government Senior Secondary School of Excellence, Haroli, in Una district. Meanwhile, Deepika (daughter of Ravindra Kumar), a resident of Ward No. 9, holds an M.Sc. (Mathematics) and B.Ed. degree; she has secured an appointment as a mathematics teacher at the Government Senior Secondary School, Rali-Jajari, in Hamirpur district.
Both teachers have been appointed on a five-year contract basis under the ‘Professional English and Mathematics Teachers Sub-Scheme.’ After receiving their appointment letters, both have assumed their duties at their respective schools.
The success of these two promising daughters of Santoshgarh has created an atmosphere of joy across the region. Locals, social organizations, educationists, and prominent citizens have extended their best wishes to both, hoping for their bright futures. Residents remark that Shivani and Deepika achieved this milestone through hard work, dedication, and talent, serving as an inspiration for other youth in the area. Their achievement has enhanced the prestige of not just Santoshgarh, but the entire Una district.
Expressing happiness over their daughter's achievement, Shivani’s father, Subhash Chand, and mother, Jyoti, described it as a moment of immense pride for their family. They noted that Shivani had demonstrated dedication and diligence in her studies since childhood, the results of which are evident to everyone today. Meanwhile, Deepika's father, Ravindra Kumar, and mother, Asha, stated that their daughter's success is the result of years of hard work, dedication, and struggle. They mentioned that Deepika always remained focused on her goal while studying, and today, her efforts have borne fruit. They added that for parents, there could be no greater joy or source of pride than seeing their daughter become a teacher and prepare to make a significant contribution to nation-building.
