Zirakpur, August 3:- Constituency MLA S. Kuljit Singh Randhawa today laid the foundation stone of a new drinking water tubewell costing Rs 40.53 lakh in Ward No. 15, Adarsh Nagar, Zirakpur. He said that with the completion of this project, the residents of the area will get the facility of clean and uninterrupted drinking water.
On this occasion, S. Kuljit Singh Randhawa said that under the able leadership of Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh Mann, the Punjab government is continuously working to strengthen the infrastructure in the urban and rural areas of the state and provide better civic amenities to the people. He said that the government's aim is to provide clean drinking water to every household and improve the living standards of the people.
The MLA said that development works related to public welfare are being completed on priority basis and no stone will be left unturned for the all-round development of the area in the future as well.
On this occasion, Municipal Council Zirakpur President S. Gurpreet Singh Virk, MC. Chaudhary Sunil Kumar, officials of the Municipal Council and a large number of dignitaries of the area were present.
