Garhshankar- Punjab Subordinate Services Federation unit Garhshankar has strongly condemned the anti-Punjab and anti-educational moves by the Central Government to take over the structure of Panjab University Chandigarh by conspiratorial changes.
The Federation, led by state leader Amrik Singh, block president Sham Sunder Kapoor and secretary Jeet Singh, protested against this move of the Central Government by raising strong slogans at Gandhi Park Garhshankar. The leaders said that in view of the strong opposition of the students and Punjabis of the university, although the Central Government has put a stop to the certification of its own jurisdiction, it has not withdrawn it completely.
If the central government does not withdraw this dictatorial notification in the coming time or tries to damage the prestige of Punjab and the status of this university, then the people of Punjab will strongly oppose it and will defeat the anti-people dictatorial, anti-education and pro-corporate policies of the center.
The leaders said that the withdrawal of the letter by the vice-chancellor, which silenced the students due to the great anger of the university students, is also a big victory for student organizations and democracy.
