Chandigarh, July 25:- Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini said that cleanliness, beautification, and planned urban development of Gurugram are among the government's top priorities. Chairing the meeting of the District Public Relations and Grievance Redressal Committee in Gurugram on Saturday, he directed officials to ensure that there is no compromise on the city's cleanliness and aesthetic appeal. He also instructed all construction agencies and concerned departments to ensure that Construction and Demolition (C&D) waste is disposed of scientifically and only at designated sites.
The meeting was attended by Haryana Industries and Commerce Minister Rao Narbir Singh, Pataudi MLA Bimla Chaudhary, Sohna MLA Tejpal Tanwar, and Gurugram MLA Mukesh Sharma.
A total of 15 public grievances were taken up during the meeting. The Chief Minister resolved 13 complaints on the spot, while directing officials to submit status reports on the remaining two pending cases in the next meeting.

**Timely Disposal of CM Window Complaints
The Chief Minister emphasized the prompt and effective disposal of complaints received through the CM Window grievance portal. He said he personally reviews the complaints on a regular basis and directed all officers to address every grievance fairly, sensitively, and within the stipulated time.
He warned that any negligence, indifference, or mala fide conduct by officials would invite strict disciplinary action. He added that it is the government's responsibility to resolve citizens' grievances and ensure timely relief.

**Immediate Action Ordered to Improve Civic Amenities in Wazirpur Enclave
During the meeting, members of the Residents' Welfare Association (RWA) from Wazirpur Enclave under the Municipal Corporation Manesar highlighted the lack of basic civic amenities despite the colony having been regularized by the government.
The residents pointed out deficiencies in sewerage, street lighting, drinking water supply, road infrastructure, and electricity distribution. They also sought strengthening of the power infrastructure to meet the growing demand.
Taking serious note of the issue, the Chief Minister directed all concerned departments to conduct a joint survey and resolve the problems on a priority basis. He said providing basic civic facilities to citizens is the government's foremost responsibility and that delays in development works would not be tolerated.

**Strict Action Against Builders Disconnecting Electricity Over Maintenance Charges
Residents of Sector-83 complained that a builder was disconnecting electricity connections of families who had not paid maintenance charges.
The Chief Minister directed officials to ensure that no builder is allowed to disconnect electricity connections to recover maintenance fees. He warned that any builder found resorting to such practices would face strict action under the law. He reiterated that citizens' basic rights cannot be compromised and all disputes must be resolved strictly according to legal provisions.

**Crackdown on Illegal Dumping of C&D Waste
A complainant from Sector-102 alleged that a builder was illegally dumping construction and demolition waste in open areas, violating environmental norms.
Taking serious cognizance of the complaint, the Chief Minister instructed officials to initiate strict action against any individual or organization found dumping C&D waste illegally. He further directed that the entire cost of removing such illegally dumped waste should be recovered from the responsible builder or agency.
He also instructed officials to ensure that within one month, no open dumping of C&D waste remains anywhere in Gurugram. Builders violating the rules should be issued notices, penalized as per regulations, and effective mechanisms should be put in place to prevent such violations in the future.
