Chandigarh, March 20:- Haryana Chief Minister Shri Naib Singh Saini on Friday chaired a review meeting of Chief Minister Good Governance Associates (CMGGA) at Swaran Jayanti Haryana Financial Management Institute, Sector-3 Panchkula, Panchkula. The meeting was attended by Chief Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Shri Rajesh Khullar, Deputy Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Shri Yashpal, Director General of Swaran Jayanti Haryana Financial Management Institute Dr Raj Nehru, CEO of GVF Shri Sumit Kumar, CEO of Rishihood University Shri Sahil Agarwal and Head of Programs Shri Vasundhara.
During the review, the Chief Minister assessed the field work done by CMGG associates under two modules - Solid Waste Management and Human Resources - last month. He appreciated the work done by the partners so far and encouraged them to continue their active contribution to the good governance and development priorities of the state.
The Chief Minister also directed that a meeting be held with the Deputy Commissioners to discuss the key issues emerging from the field. He stressed the need for stronger coordination with the district authorities to effectively address the challenges identified by the partners.
New focus areas for the CMGGA were also launched during this review. The health sector partners will work on strengthening the implementation of Ayushman Bharat and Chirayu Yojana in Haryana. The education sector will focus on school infrastructure and implementation of the National Education Policy. The water sector will focus on water management, rainwater conservation and rejuvenation of ponds.
The partners will now return to their respective districts and resume work on both the newly launched and existing modules, which are key pillars of the state’s development agenda. The Chief Minister directed the associates to maintain close coordination with the officers, especially on issues related to water and sewerage, and also to incorporate the feedback received from the officers after submitting the report.
The CMGGA Forum 1 is being organised from March 14 to March 21, 2026, following ten weeks of field immersion of the CMGGA associates. The forum provides an opportunity for associates and senior leadership to review progress, identify field level challenges and decide on next steps in line with Haryana’s good governance priorities.
