Chandigarh , June 6 - Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini, while speaking as the chief guest on the annual foundation day of Seva Sadhana and Gram Vikas Kendra of Samalkha , Panipat, on Saturday , said that this annual foundation day is a celebration of that great concept of service , devotion and dedication , which is working to give a new direction to the society. He congratulated all the lakhs of families associated with Seva Sadhana and Gram Vikas Kendra and said that people have shaped this great project with their hard work , cooperation , sacrifice and dedication. When the society itself takes the resolution of its own development , then the change is not only visible , but continues for generations.
He said that the soul of India resides in the villages. The strongest foundation of the concept of a developed India that the country has taken under the able leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji is our villages. The path to a developed India passes through developed villages. This center is not just a building or an institution , but a living model of a self-reliant India. He said that it is a matter of pride for all of us that this center is focusing on the overall development of 100 nearby villages. This is a concept of improving the future of villages. This effort is an important step towards making those villages self-reliant , where work is being done simultaneously on all dimensions of education, skill, agriculture, health, sports, culture and employment. This center has been established as a trinity of service , spiritual guidance and village development . Service is the power that connects the society . Sadhana is the energy that takes an individual to great heights and village development is the medium that strengthens the foundation of nation building. When all these three streams flow simultaneously , then along with development in the society, a new consciousness is also born.
Chief Minister Naib Singh said that Indian culture has always given us the message of ' Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam ' . Our tradition teaches us that the entire world is one family. Taking this spirit forward , this center is working on the concept of 'One Earth, One Family and One Future'. This idea is the essence of Indian philosophy of life. When we consider the Earth as mother , society as family and future as a shared responsibility , only then sustainable development in the true sense can be possible. The Chief Minister said that today the world is changing rapidly. In this era of technology , innovation and modernity, the biggest need is that our youth get skill training as per the demand of the time. I am happy to know that a skill development center has been established here. Not only this , for this, an agreement has also been signed with Shri Vishwakarma Kaushal University for skill training. This center is also a medium to give a new flight to the dreams of thousands of youth. He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi always says that the 21st century is the century of India's youth. If the youth get the right skills , the right opportunities and the right guidance , then they can not only change the destiny of their families but can also play an important role in nation building. This center is working towards making the youth not job seekers but job providers. The youth coming out of here are full of self-confidence , knowledge and skills and are establishing a new identity in the society.
He said that in this center, farmers are being trained in natural farming. Today, the whole world is moving towards chemical-free farming. Under the leadership of the Prime Minister , India is also promoting natural farming . The Haryana government is also working continuously in this direction . Natural farming is not just a farming technique , it is also our duty towards Mother Earth. This increases the fertility of the soil , saves water , keeps the environment safe and reduces the cost of farmers. The subsidy on indigenous cows for eligible farmers doing natural farming has been increased to Rs 30,000 . Indigenous cows have special importance in natural farming. Indigenous cows play an important role in producing Jivamrit , Ghanjivamrit and other natural inputs. Therefore, the state government has decided to encourage farmers towards natural farming by providing financial assistance . In addition , each farmer will be provided with an assistance of Rs. 3,000 for purchasing four drums for storage and processing of raw materials used in organic farming . This assistance will provide the farmers with the necessary infrastructure for organic farming as well as make farming more systematic.
He said that the state government has taken several concrete decisions in the budget of this financial year to promote natural farming . In this direction, it has been decided to provide financial assistance of Rs. 10 thousand per acre per year for 5 years to Apida certified natural and organic farmers . This assistance will permanently motivate farmers towards natural farming and will prove helpful in increasing their income. About 800 acres of land owned by the Agriculture Department will be leased only to those farmers who will do natural and organic farming there for at least the next 10 years. Similarly, a new policy is being prepared to promote natural and organic farming on panchayat land . The biggest benefit of natural farming will be obtained only when the farmers get a fair price for their produce . Special places will be made available for natural and organic farmers in 10 mandis of the state. Along with this, testing laboratories and Apida recognized certification centers will also be established , so that the farmers can get the quality of their produce certified and get better markets.
Chief Minister Naib Singh said that in collaboration with Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University, a ' Smart Agriculture ' scheme will be started in an area of ??2 thousand acres in Kurukshetra district. This scheme will be a wonderful confluence of natural farming and modern technology. The most important thing is that if any loss is incurred by the farmers in this scheme , then the Haryana government will compensate it. Expressing happiness, he said that youth are being connected with sports through a sports nursery in this Sadhana Kendra. Haryana is a powerhouse of sports. Haryana players have made a significant contribution among the players who have won the most medals for the country. If the sports talents in the villages get the right opportunity and training , then in the coming time this centre will also work to prepare national and international level players.
The Chief Minister said that the real development of any society is possible only when its weaker and deprived sections get an opportunity to move forward. Such hostels will be run here , where children of poor families will be able to stay, get education and develop their personality. These will not be just hostels , they will be centers for the development of true talents. Seva Sadhana and Gram Vikas Kendras will also be set up under this ' Atondaya'. is taking forward the idea of. Here, the meaning of service is , the concept of connecting the society and the vision of building the future. This center can become an ideal model for the entire country in the coming times as to how the power of society , the values ??of culture and the concepts of modern development can be combined in a common form to bring about change. This center will not be limited to Panipat or Haryana , but will emerge as an inspiring model of village development , skill development , natural agriculture , sports promotion and social upliftment across the country .
