Chandigarh, September 4:- Haryana Chief Minister Shri Naib Singh Saini reached Jagadhri on Friday and expressed grief over the demise of renowned social worker and senior preacher of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh Late Jagdish Mittal. The Chief Minister paid tribute to Late Jagdish Mittal by offering floral tributes to him and met the bereaved family and expressed his condolences.
Late Jagdish Mittal passed away on Thursday. His last rites were performed today in a somber atmosphere. His demise has sent a wave of grief across the area. The Chief Minister said that Late Jagdish Mittal's demise is an irreparable loss to the society and various social and educational institutions. He made significant contributions in the fields of social service, education and nation building in his life.
On this occasion, Cabinet Minister Mr. Anil Vij, MLA Mr. Ghanshyam Das Arora, Chairperson of Scheduled Castes Commission Mrs. Banto Kataria, Chairman of Haryana Electricity Regulatory Commission (HERC) Mukesh Garg, former Cabinet Minister Mr. Kanwar Pal Gujjar, Mayor Mrs. Suman Bahmani, Chairman Mr. Rakesh Tyagi, OSD to the Chief Minister Mr. Bhopal Khadri and a large number of dignitaries were present.
