Ratia, December 25: A serious case has come to light in the area where a commission agent, after initially giving farmers a clean chit, misused their blank checks to file fraudulent lawsuits worth crores of rupees. Dozens of farmer families affected by this fraud are currently facing deep financial and mental distress.
The affected farmers and farmer unions have united and mobilized to fight against this injustice.
On December 29, the affected farmers and leaders of the Bharatiya Kisan Union (Ekta Ugrahan) will meet with the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) of Ratia to demand a fair investigation into the entire matter and justice for the affected families.
The farmers have warned that if the administration does not provide justice soon, take strict action against the guilty commission agent, and dismiss the false cases, they will be forced to launch a protest, for which the entire responsibility will lie with the administration.
The Bharatiya Kisan Union (Ekta Ugrahan) will continue to fight with full force for the rights and justice of the farmers.
