Karnal, 17 August:- In Mughal Majra village under Kunjpura police station area, a woman has made serious allegations against an acquaintance of forcibly taking her away by making her sit in a car, attempting to do wrong act, removing gold earrings and threatening to kill her husband and brother-in-law including family. On the basis of woman's complaint and preliminary investigation, police have registered a case against the accused and started investigation.
**Allegation of pulling into car while going to bank
Karnal resident woman in her complaint given to police said that two days ago at around 11:30 am she was going to the bank located in Mughal Majra to deposit her daughter's installment. During this, a car came and stopped near her. According to the woman, a person named Ramesh got down from the car and caught her and forcibly made her sit in the car. The woman alleged that after she raised noise, the accused left her beyond the cremation ground. During this, both her gold earrings were also removed. The woman alleges that she, her husband and brother-in-law were also threatened to be killed.
**Woman knew accused earlier
In police investigation it came to light that the woman knew the accused earlier. After the complaint, police did verbal inquiry with her. According to report, woman had said about getting action taken after talking to family and did not get police action done for about two days.
Later police included the woman in investigation and again interrogated her on her complaint. The woman remained firm on her earlier allegations and demanded legal action.
**Case registered under these sections
According to police, on the basis of complaint and interrogation, allegations of forcibly taking woman in car, attempt of wrong act and threatening family prima facie were found to be offences under sections 140(3), 64(1), 62 and 351(2) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. Police have registered the case and all aspects related to the incident including role of accused are being investigated.
