Ferozepur, 25th August:- Under the guidance of Deputy Director Dairy Development Randeep Kumar, an awareness camp regarding importance and quality of milk was organized at Saragarhi Memorial Meritorious School, Hakumat Singh Wala, Ferozepur to make school children aware about milk. Children and staff of the school participated in this camp with great enthusiasm.
In the camp, detailed information was given to the children by Randeep Kumar, Deputy Director Dairy Development, regarding milk, composition of milk, soft drink and comparison of milk with soft drink and health hazards.
On this occasion, Amandeep Singh, Dairy Development Inspector, made the children aware about nutrients found in milk, effect of milk on human body and importance of milk in life and motivated the children to drink milk daily. Special thanks were given by Deputy Director Dairy and Dairy Development Department team to the Principal of the school and District Education Officer Dr. Satinder Singh, Vice Principal Sukriti Sharma, Sunil Kamboj and their entire staff who gave special contribution in organizing this camp.
Reports were also given after checking the milk samples brought by school children in the camp. Shri Randeep Kumar honoured the Vice Principal sahiban by giving memento. In the end, Verka refreshment was given to the children.
