Chandigarh, July 28:– Haryana Public Works and Public Health Engineering Minister Mr. Ranbir Gangwa met with leaders of various employee unions of Public Works Department and Public Health Engineering Department on Tuesday in his office located in the Secretariat. During this, various issues related to employees and departments were discussed in detail in the presence of senior officers of both the departments. During the meeting, Additional Chief Secretary of P.W. (B&R) Department Mr. A.K. Singh, Chief Secretary of Public Health Engineering Department Mr. Pankaj Yadav and other key officers of the department were also present.
During the meeting, the union leaders discussed their suggestions and demands with Minister Mr. Ranbir Gangwa on job security of employees, promotion, new recruitments, rationalization, vacant posts, service related matters and other administrative topics. The Minister also gave necessary directions on ensuring safety of employees during sewer cleaning work, maintaining uninterrupted supply of drinking water to the general public, improvement of sewerage system, effective handling of congestion and various other aspects related to departmental work. Cabinet Minister Mr. Ranbir Gangwa listened to all the leaders seriously and directed the officers to take action on the necessary points as per the rules. He said that the government is fully committed to providing better and uninterrupted services to the general public along with the interests of the employees. He assured that appropriate action will be taken on all the demands and suggestions as per the departmental rules.
