Sunam, July 3:- Punjab Cabinet Minister Mr. Gurmeet Singh Khuddian today participated in the event organized at Guru Nanak Dev Dental College, Sunam, on the 26th death anniversary of former Punjab Cabinet Minister, the late Babu Bhagwan Das Arora, and paid his tributes to him.
On this occasion, the Bhog of Sri Akhand Path Sahib was performed, followed by Ardas and Kirtan Darbar. Simultaneously, a free medical and dental camp was organized for public welfare, from which a large number of people benefited.
Cabinet Minister Gurmeet Singh Khuddian said that the late Babu Bhagwan Das Arora dedicated his entire life to public service, simplicity, and honesty. He stated that personalities who work for social welfare with a selfless spirit always remain in the hearts of the people due to their services.
He said that the contribution made by the late Babu Bhagwan Das Arora in the fields of education and health, especially the establishment of Guru Nanak Dev Dental College, was a historic step for the Malwa region. This institution has not only provided higher education opportunities to thousands of youth but has also made a significant contribution to the field of health services.
The Cabinet Minister said that the ideals and commitment towards society of the late Babu Bhagwan Das Arora remain inspirational for society even today. He added that Mr. Aman Arora is effectively carrying forward his father’s ideals and the legacy of public service, which is commendable.
In the end, Mr. Gurmeet Singh Khuddian prayed for the eternal peace of the late Babu Bhagwan Das Arora’s soul and prayed for the family to remain in high spirits.
