Karnal, October 10: Last evening, the District Police's Anti-Auto Vehicle Theft CIA-1 team, led by Inspector Indra Singh, included Sub-Inspectors Yashpal Singh, Rakesh Kumar, Suresh Kumar, Assistant Sub-Inspectors Suresh Kumar, Devendra Kumar, Krishna Kumar, Rajesh Kumar, Head Constable Sukhmahendra Singh, and Constable Sandeep Kumar. Acting on reliable information, while patrolling and investigating, set up a blockade at Bajida Road, New Grain Market, Karnal, and apprehended accused Pradeep Kumar, son of Satpal, resident of Mubarakabad village, Madhuban police station, Karnal district, along with 19 stolen motorcycles.
Informing this, Inspector Indra Singh, in-charge of Anti-Auto Vehicle Theft CIA-1, stated that a motorcycle theft case was registered against the accused at the Civil Lines police station, Karnal, on September 30, 2025. The investigation unit arrested the accused along with a stolen Bullet motorcycle from the Civil Lines police station area.
During interrogation, the accused confessed to stealing 18 other motorcycles, in addition to the recovered motorcycle, from Sector 12, Kalpana Chawla Hospital, the Civil Lines police station area of ??Karnal, and the district of Panipat. A total of 19 motorcycles have been recovered from the accused. The accused was produced before the Honorable Court today and remanded to judicial custody in this case.
