Patiala 18th February:- Vande Mataram Dal and many religious and social service organizations of the city have started a movement to save the ancient Shri Vaman Avtar Temple and the holy tank. In which a series of hunger strikes have been going on continuously since 8th February. Brahmin Samaj Welfare Front Punjab has been fully supporting this movement from the first day itself. And whatever outline of the movement will be prepared by the forum, we will give full support from all sides.
Along with this, a memorandum will be submitted to the Deputy Commissioner Patiala soon and a letter will be written to Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann informing him of the entire situation and demanding that the government strictly issue orders to the administration to save the ancient heritage of Hinduism as soon as possible.
Today, the hunger strike entered its eleventh day. Former Chairman Harinder Pal Sharma Korjiwala, President Brahmin Samaj Welfare Front Punjab, along with his team including Bhushan Sharma, Brij Bhushan Atri, Sunita Atri, Ajay Kumar President IT Wing Devigarh, Channu President Devigarh, Dharampal Sharma Raipur Mandal, Gian Chand, Rajkumar Dakala, Mohan Lal Bansal, Rani, Lalit Sharma, Janak Raj Singla, Rajnish Singla, Neeraj Singla, Dev Priya Mukherjee, Bhawna Pathak, Sanjeev Sharma Raipur Mandal, Taranjit Sharma Jorian Bhathian, Vinod Bhatnagar, Sanjeev Sharma Ahiru Kalan along with their colleagues reached the dharna from the market by marching.

Because this temple is a very ancient and famous temple. It makes one cry to see its poor condition. Along with this, where there is anger in the Brahmin community, there is also a huge anger in the entire Sanatan community.
Being Sanatani, we will even sacrifice our lives to save the temple, but we will get the temple built, even if we have to approach the Chief Minister, Governor or Prime Minister. We will inform everyone about the bad behavior of the administration and we request Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann to intervene in this matter and come forward to save this heritage of Sanatan as soon as possible.
