Hansi:- To accelerate the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) campaign for electoral rolls in the Hansi Assembly constituency, a meeting of Booth Level Officers (BLOs) and Booth Level Agents (BLAs) will be held on July 5 (Sunday) at all 205 polling stations in the area. This meeting is scheduled from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
Providing details on this, the SDM stated that the Special Intensive Revision campaign for electoral rolls is being conducted in accordance with the Election Commission's directives; under this initiative, the details of every eligible voter are being verified to make the electoral roll more accurate and up-to-date. He emphasized that the roles of BLOs and BLAs are crucial in this process.
The SDM informed that the meeting on July 5 would address matters related to the electoral roll at the polling station level, including claims, objections, the addition of new names, the deletion of names of deceased or relocated voters, and other necessary corrections. Additionally, BLOs and BLAs will establish mutual coordination to make the revision process more effective.
He appealed to the Booth Level Agents of all recognized political parties to be present at their respective polling stations at the scheduled time and ensure active participation in the process, thereby helping to make the electoral roll error-free and transparent. SDM Rajesh Khoth stated that an accurate and updated electoral roll is essential for strengthening democracy, and the cooperation of all stakeholders is vital for this purpose.
