Patiala:- The Municipal Corporation Sweeper Union election was held on Saturday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. In which Babbu Selvan, whose election symbol was a trident, on one side and Shami Sode, whose election symbol was a lion, on the other. Voting took place on 18-04-2026. The result came on 18-04-2026 at 6:00 pm. In which Babu Ram Selvan got 573 votes out of a total of 811, Babu Ram Selvan and Shami Sode got 234 votes.
Babu Pradhan won with 339 votes. In which Babu Pradhan won with a record-breaking vote with a very big lead. In which the Pradhan thanked the employees and the Patiala city society president and his entire team wholeheartedly.
Special thanks were given to Dr. BR Ambedkar Welfare Society President Sonu Seswal, Vice President Amarjit, Monu Rakhra ji, Amandeep (Badal) and Happy Lohat from Dhiro Nagar, Pawan Bhumak ji from Sanjay Colony and President Kewal Krishan ji of Clerical Union and his team and Driver Union President Sita Ram was specially thanked by Babbu Pradhan on behalf of all the organizations and employees.
