Ayodhya:- Prime Minister Narendra Modi today hoisted the saffron flag on the top of the 191 feet high Ram Janmabhoomi temple in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, marking the formal completion of its construction. He said, "Centuries' wounds and pain are healing today, a 500-year-old resolution is being fulfilled." The Prime Minister said, "Ayodhya is witnessing another epoch-making event in its history. The entire country and the world are absorbed in Ram."
Modi said, "This sacred flag will be proof that truth ultimately triumphs over falsehood."
He was accompanied by RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
Earlier, Prime Minister Modi wrote in a Facebook post, "I have reached Ayodhya to participate in the flag hoisting ceremony at Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple." The Prime Minister also took out a road show in Ayodhya.
Prime Minister Modi will hoist the sacred saffron flag on the 191-foot-high peak of the Ayodhya Ram Janmabhoomi Temple during this ceremony. The 'Dharma Dhvaj' represents the three sacred symbols Om, Suraj and Kovidar tree, each representing deep spiritual values ??rooted in the Sanatan tradition. The Kovidar tree is a hybrid of the temple and the Parijat tree, created by Rishi Kashyap and which represents the hybridization of ancient plants. Suraj represents the Suryavansh lineage of Lord Ram, and Om is the eternal spiritual sound.
The flag hoisting time will coincide with the 'Abhijit Muhurat' of the marriage of Shri Ram and Mother Sita. The Prime Minister will formally unfurl the flag at 12 noon today, symbolising the construction of the temple and the beginning of a new chapter of cultural festivity and national unity.
Meanwhile, before the event, he will visit the Saptamandari, which has temples related to Maharishi Vashisht, Maharishi Vishwamitra, Maharishi Agastya, Maharishi Valmiki, Devi Ahilya, Nishadraj Guha and Mata Shabri. This will be followed by a visit to the Sheshavatara Temple.
