Hoshiarpur:- District and Sessions Judge-cum-Chairman District Legal Services Authority Hoshiarpur Rajinder Agarwal and Chief Judicial Magistrate-cum-Secretary District Legal Services Authority Hoshiarpur Neeraj Goyal, as per the orders of Punjab Legal Services Authority, under the War Against Drug Anti-Drug Awareness, today in the presence of Counselor Prashant Adian of the District De-Addiction Rehabilitation Center Hoshiarpur, Advocate Rupika Thakur, Assistant Legal Aid Defense Council, Advocate Niharika, Assistant Legal Defense Council from District Legal Services Authority Hoshiarpur, made the patients aware about the ill effects of drug abuse.
On this occasion, Advocate Rupika Thakur said that a person addicted to drugs suffers physically, mentally, economically and socially. Therefore, we need to be aware to save Punjab and Punjabiyat.
On this occasion, Advocate Niharika said that we need to change ourselves, need to bring out our skills, need to stay away from drugs and work on new thinking and new ideology. On this occasion, individual counseling was also done by the advocates with 10-15 patients. 
On this occasion, an oath to stay away from drugs was also taken. During this, Vishal Thakur, staff nurse and patient were present.
