Dhuri, December 31:- As part of the International Year of Cooperatives, Cooperative Agricultural Development Bank Dhuri organized an educational program on cooperative principles and values under the chairmanship of the bank's chairman Satwant Singh Bhadlawar. On this occasion, bank manager Surinder Garg welcomed the guests and farmer members who attended the event.
During his address, Chairman Satwant Singh Bhadlawar, while shedding light on the basic principles and values of cooperation, said that cooperation is a system that is based on mutual cooperation, trust and cooperation. He said that the main principles of cooperation include voluntary and open membership, democratic control, economic participation of members, autonomy, education, truth, honesty, mutual cooperation and community welfare. All these principles are motivating not only for individual progress but also for the development of the entire society.
He appealed to everyone to contribute to the creation of a strong and just society by adopting cooperative principles in their daily lives.
On this occasion, Assistant General Manager of District Sangrur Shailendra Kumar Garg thanked the farmers present and said that the real meaning of cooperation is to move forward together. He said that cooperative principles teach us that every member is equal and decisions are taken in a democratic manner. Mutual cooperation, honesty, equality and social responsibility are the strong foundation of the cooperative movement. He stressed that more and more people should join the cooperative movement and take advantage of cooperative schemes.
During this event, the Vice President of the bank, Mrs. Sandeep Kaur Issi, Committee members Jaswinder Kaur, Karamjit Singh Batuha, Gurpreet Singh Sekhon, Gurbhez Singh Nagra, Harbans Singh Dhandiwal, former President Mr. Sukhwinder Singh Issi, Sharanjit Singh Bhadlawar, besides farmer members and all the staff of the bank, Harpreet Singh, Tejinder Singh (Assistant Manager), Gurjinder Kaur, Gunman Nirmal Singh and Sagar Kumar were also present.
