Haroli/Una, April 19 (Rajveer Chopra):— The Fire Department is observing 'Fire Safety Week' from April 14 to April 20 in Tahliwal—an industrial hub located within the Haroli Assembly constituency. This campaign is being conducted nationwide in accordance with directives issued by the department's headquarters in Shimla, with the primary objective of raising public awareness regarding fire prevention and safety measures.
On Sunday, April 19, 2026, as part of this initiative, detailed information regarding safety protocols to be followed in the event of a fire outbreak was provided to the public at the Community Health Centre (CHC) in Dulaihar. Additionally, pamphlets were distributed to those present to familiarize them with essential fire safety regulations.
Furthermore, at a local petrol pump, employees were specifically sensitized regarding fire prevention techniques, the importance of vigilance, and the necessary steps to be taken during emergency situations.
Fire Department personnel—Sunil Dutt, Ravinder, Vijay, Aman (Driver), and Dharampal—were present during these events. They appealed to the public to strictly adhere to safety regulations and to exercise utmost vigilance during any emergency situation.
