Una, August 31: Assistant Public Relations Officer Neelam Kumari retired today (Monday) from the District Public Relations Office, Una, after a long and dedicated tenure of 38 years, 2 months, and 25 days with the Department of Information and Public Relations. A dignified farewell ceremony was organized at the office premises to mark the occasion.
Neelam Kumari began her career with the Department of Information and Public Relations as a Steno-typist at the District Public Relations Office, Una. Throughout her long tenure, she served the department by discharging various responsibilities in Una, Hamirpur, Kangra, and the Directorate in Shimla. She carried out her duties effectively—demonstrating dedication, discipline, efficiency, and a positive attitude—and made significant contributions to the department's operations.
The farewell ceremony was presided over by District Public Relations Officer (Una) Sachin Sangar. While extending his best wishes for her retirement, he commended her long-standing contribution to the department. He noted that she had discharged her departmental duties with utmost sincerity and dedication. Her professional efficiency, discipline, and collaborative work style would continue to serve as a source of inspiration for the department's officers and staff.
