Ratia, 9 September:- Advocate Gurpreet Singh Mander. Under the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan, the ‘Ashirwad Ka Diya’ programme will be organised in Ratia subdivision on September 17, 2026. The objective of the programme is to connect beneficiaries of various government welfare schemes with the programme, increase awareness among them about government schemes and ensure that the benefits of these schemes reach eligible persons.
SDM Surendra Singh said that during the programme, beneficiaries of various government schemes would be included at the booth level. Lists of beneficiaries of the schemes would be obtained from the concerned departments, the beneficiaries would be identified and necessary information regarding the programme would be provided to them.
SDM Surendra Singh said that on September 17, all Booth Level Officers would remain present at their respective polling stations and perform their duties. Officers and employees of the concerned departments would ensure that beneficiaries of various government schemes are included in the programme and that they are provided the necessary information on time.
The SDM said that through the programme, citizens benefiting from government welfare schemes would mark their participation by lighting the ‘Ashirwad Ka Deep’. He directed the officers to work in coordination with each other to make the programme successful and ensure maximum participation of beneficiaries. He also appealed to the general public to obtain information about government welfare schemes and, if eligible, avail themselves of their benefits.
