Santoshgarh/Una, March 3 (Rajveer Chopra): Today, approximately 100 students from PM Shri School, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Pekhubela, took an educational tour to Himpa Industries in Tahliwal. This tour was organized as part of the Bagless Day activity in line with the New Education Policy (NEP), which aims to provide students with practical and experiential learning outside the classroom.
On this occasion, the students were accompanied by the school's Bagless Day in-charge teachers, Mrs. Sunita Chaudhary, Mrs. Geeta Bindra, Mr. Rakesh Kumar Sharma, and Mrs. Mamta. All the teachers and students visited the plant and closely understood the workings of the industry.
The school's Principal, Mr. Raj Singh, informed the students about the purpose and importance of this educational tour. He explained that such industrial visits provide students with an opportunity to observe the workings of industries firsthand, developing their professional skills and self-confidence.
Mr. Rohit Verma and Ms. Shivani Verma, Chief Managers of Himpa Industries, welcomed the students and faculty and provided detailed information about the industry's functioning. The students were taken inside the plant and the entire juice manufacturing process was explained step-by-step. They were also briefed in detail about the production process, quality control, industrial safety standards, and the operation of various machines.
During this educational visit, the students gained a wealth of new information and learned about modern technologies used in the industry. This visit proved to be highly informative, inspiring, and useful for the students.
