Chandigarh, October 23:- The Haryana government is continuously working to provide better self-employment opportunities to citizens and promote the sale of milk and milk products. As part of these efforts, The Hisar-Jind Cooperative Milk Producers Union Limited (Vita) has initiated the process of allotting Vita milk booths at various designated locations in Hisar district.

An official spokesperson said that, keeping all sections of society in mind, the state government has introduced a special reservation system for the allotment of these milk booths. Under this system, booths at different locations have been reserved for persons with disabilities, women and war widows, backward classes, Scheduled Castes, dependants of milk producers, women’s self-help groups and ex-servicemen from the armed forces. Some locations have also been earmarked for the general category. This initiative will not only provide local residents with pure and quality dairy products but will also play an important role in making young people and women self-reliant.

The spokesperson further said that interested applicants can submit their applications, along with an application fee of Rs. 500, the prescribed security deposit of Rs. 5,000 and the required documents, at the office of The Hisar-Jind Cooperative Milk Producers Union Limited. Application forms, terms and conditions, and detailed information about booth allotment are available on the department’s official website, www.vita-haryana.gov.in, and can also be accessed by scanning the provided QR code.
