Haroli/Una, March 16 (Rajveer Chopra): The Annual Prize Distribution Ceremony for the academic year 2025-26 was organized with great enthusiasm at Sant Dhangu Wale Gurjar Government College, Beetan, located within the Haroli subdivision. Himachal Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri attended the ceremony as the Chief Guest.
The College Principal, Dr. Sumiksha Gupta, formally welcomed Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri and presented the annual report on this occasion.
During the program, students presented various cultural performances, with Giddha, Bhangra, Nati, and Haryanvi dances serving as the main highlights. As part of the annual prize distribution ceremony, students who demonstrated outstanding performance in academics, sports, cultural activities, and various club activities during the year 2026 were honored by Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri. Several prominent administrative officials from District Una were also present on this occasion.
In his address, Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri lauded the students' achievements, encouraged them to excel further in their education and other activities, and wished them a bright future. He stated that the government and the administration would always remain committed to striving for the holistic development of the students. Additionally, he shared information regarding various ongoing development projects in the region with the audience present at the event.
The program was anchored by Dr. Anita, while Dr. Uma Rani delivered the vote of thanks at the conclusion, expressing gratitude to the Chief Guest and all other dignitaries present. The ceremony concluded with the singing of the National Anthem.
