Chandigarh, November 7 - Haryana Haryana Energy Minister Mr. Anil Vij distributed subsidy checks of Rs. 25.23 lakh to 23 beneficiaries of Ambala Cantt under the Pradhan Mantri Surya Ghar Free Electricity Scheme at his residence in Ambala Cantt. During this, he appealed to the people that maximum people should take advantage of this scheme so that we can develop a green energy free India as per the vision of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi.
He said that the Pradhan Mantri Surya Ghar Free Electricity Scheme is a very good scheme for the people, under which we have given subsidy checks of Rs. 60 thousand from the Central Government and Rs. 50 thousand from the State Government, i.e. a total of Rs. 1.10 lakh to each beneficiary today. Under the scheme, those whose income is less than Rs. 1.80 lakh have been given subsidy of Rs. 1.10 lakh per kilowatt.
Energy Minister Mr. Anil Vij said that an important task for the beneficiaries is to tell and show more people that electricity becomes almost free after installing solar panels. The electricity generated by solar in a day can run a household.
That electricity bill can be eliminated. This scheme is not only being given up to two kilowatts but also for more than two kilowatt loads, under which a subsidy of Rs. 78 thousand is being given to those with a load of up to 3 kilowatts. The Energy Minister appealed that maximum people should take advantage of the scheme. Minister Vij appealed that they should inform maximum people about installing solar panels and install these panels.
**Cheques distributed to 23 beneficiaries
Today, a total of 23 beneficiaries of Ambala Cantt were distributed subsidy checks under the Pradhan Mantri Surya Ghar Free Electricity Scheme. On this occasion, XEN of the Power Corporation Mr. Vikas and other honorable persons were present.
