An invitation to follow the teachings of the ninth Guru to create a healthy society

Chandigarh, November 15:- Addressing a seminar organized by Shaheed Udham Singh Memorial Bhawan Society on the 350th martyrdom anniversary of Ninth Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, various speakers called for following the teachings of the Guru to create a healthy society. They said that the Guru had given his martyrdom to save humanity.
Today, here at Shaheed Udham Singh Memorial Bhawan Society Sector 44 C, the chief guest of the seminar, Rajya Sabha member Mr. Satnam Singh Sandhu, said that the problems and challenges that humanity is facing can be solved by following the path shown by Guru Tegh Bahadur. He said that the efforts made by the organizers of Shaheed Udham Singh Memorial Bhawan Society to create dialogue by organizing seminars are commendable and the organization needs to make great efforts for discussion and exchange of ideas.
Eminent thinker Dr. Pyara Lal Garg, while mentioning Sikh philosophy, said that in the current situation of the country, the importance of the teachings of the Gurus increases even more. The unparalleled sacrifice of Guru Tegh Bahadur inspires us to fight against the bad trends emerging in the society.
The resolute fight waged by Prof. Kanwaljit Kaur Dhillon, National Secretary of the Indian Women's Federation, Prof. Jagdish Singh Mukerian against the rulers of the time is also unparalleled. He strongly opposed the divisive and hateful ideas in the society and called for following the teachings of Guru Tegh Bahadur.
The seminar was conducted by Kendriya Singh Sabha President Professor Sham Singh, Chairman Shalinder Kaur, Senior Journalist Balwinder Singh Jammu and Stage Conductor Prof Gurmej Singh.
On this occasion, Shaheed Udham Singh Memorial Bhawan Society honored the chief guest of the event and Rajya Sabha member Mr. Satnam Singh Sandhu, Prof. Kanwaljit Kaur Dhillon, Prof. Jagdish Singh Mukerian. On this occasion, Manjit Singh Kamboj, social worker Surinder Singh Burail and veteran journalist Harminder Singh Nagpal were present. On the occasion, a free medical camp was organized by Kamboj Hospital Sunny Enclave.
