Hoshiarpur: ASI Jagdish Kumar, In-charge of the Bhunga Police Post, visited the 'Jai Jawan Jai Kisan Army Training Academy' to seek the youth's valuable cooperation in raising public awareness and making this campaign a success. Guided by the slogan "Punjabis, Wake Up; Renounce Drugs," he undertook this special visit to help take the campaign to every village. During the visit, he commended Academy Coach Neeraj Dadwal for his efforts to keep the youth fit and well-guided, encouraging him to work even harder. He remarked that if such facilities and initiatives were to become available in villages across the region, the day would not be far off when Punjab's youth—by making morning and evening ground training an integral part of their lives—could lead healthy, fit, and energetic lives. He noted that the government and administration frequently undertake various initiatives to liberate Punjab from the trap of drug abuse and protect the state's youth from this social stigma. Academy Coach Neeraj Dadwal and his team honored the Police Post In-charge with a trophy in recognition of his service to society. Coach Neeraj Dadwal and the large number of youths present also pledged to extend their full cooperation in eradicating the drug menace from Punjab by raising public awareness about the issue. ASI Paramjit Singh and Lady Head Constable Randeep Kaur were also present on the occasion.
